Traveling from Miami to Girona, María Alejandra and Rodolfo designed a multi-day destination wedding at Castell de Peralada, where emotion and culture set the tone from the start.

The festivities began with a pre-wedding gathering, where María Alejandra surprised guests with a flamenco performance a powerful and personal expression of her roots. This intimate beginning allowed connection, joy and anticipation to build before the main celebration.

The ceremony took place at the Church of Sant Martí de Peralada, within the historic grounds of the castle. María Alejandra arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, creating a fairytale moment beautifully captured from above.

Inside the church, emotion filled the space as Rodolfo awaited her. The confetti exit that followed turned the moment into pure celebration — vibrant, joyful and unforgettable.

Located in the Alt Empordà region, Castell de Peralada is one of the most iconic wedding venues near Girona, known for its historic architecture, gardens and timeless presence.

The celebration was masterfully designed by Yeiry James, with lighting production by Gabi Project and floral artistry by Flors de Vici. The banquet space transformed into an immersive scene of color, texture and light — a setting that balanced elegance with bold visual impact.

As evening settled over the castle, the atmosphere evolved into a vibrant Miami-style celebration. Music, movement and Latin soul filled the space, with guests dancing endlessly as food stations and surprises kept the energy alive.
